Sea Glass Jewellery

Our sea glass jewellery is handmade in a small workshop on the Cornish coastline, using sea glass found on local beaches. Every piece is shaped by the sea and finished in silver, making each item totally unique. All the sea glass is collected by hand from beaches along the Cornish shore. Smoothed over decades by the sea and sand, sea glass or beach glass forms from discarded bottles, household items, and even shipwrecked cargo.

Sea Glass Jewellery from Cornwall

This collection of sea glass jewellery is designed and made by a talented and passionate independent maker located in Cornwall. No two pieces are the same, however each piece of sea glass is carefully matched and worked in a small workshop, using traditional techniques and a thoughtful ideology.

The process is thoughtful at every stage, with a focus on natural materials, ethical sourcing, and simple, wearable style. Where possible, our maker uses recycled silver to reduce the impact on the environment.

Sea Glass Colours and Origins

We stock mainly soft white, pale green, and warm amber pieces of sea glass, as these are the most commonly found on Cornish beaches.

  • White sea glass – Often from old milk bottles, tableware, or clear jars. Its frosted surface and glow give it an ethereal, moon-like appearance.

  • Pale green or olive sea glass – Usually sourced from drinks bottles, mineral water, or food jars from past decades.

  • Amber/brown sea glass – Typically from vintage beer bottles or medicine containers.

  • Blue sea glass – Rare and mostly found in older pieces of decorative glassware or signal lamps. We occasionally have blue available on commission — please get in touch to discuss options.

All our beautiful sea glass is found along the Cornish coastline, never purchased in bulk or artificially tumbled. Each amazing piece is shaped by nature and selected by hand for its colour, texture, and overall look.

Sustainability, Recycled Silver and Sea Glass Craftsmanship

Our sea glass jewellery is made using recycled silver wherever possible. Choosing recycled metals helps reduce the demand for new mining and lowers the environmental impact of each piece of jewellery. When paired with sea glass found on Cornish beaches, this makes for a truly low-impact approach to jewellery making.

This sustainable focus is central to the ethos of the workshop and reflects our commitment to beautiful, responsible design.
